ALL-STAR GAME selection

January 14, 2008

Ten ballots were not filled out and 11 ballots did not indicate which age group the voter belonged to. We originally thought that players may make "unusual" choices if given the opportunity to vote for the opposition's team but in the final analysis both youngsters and oldtimers generally selected the same players and adding their votes to the mix did not change the make-up of either team. For that reason the break-down will simply be presented in terms of percentage of total votes cast by both young and old.

Althought eight players names were requested on the ballot the two teams will have only 7 players each. If any of the top 7 cannot play then the next highest player from the list will be substituted for them. There will be at least two games played on the all-star evening and if enough players show up then maybe we will even play three.
